A large focus of our time at Kristen's was branding. Finding our own style, and marketing ourselves that way. Some words I used to describe my style were: timeless, vintage, bold, and editorial. Thursday night Kristen took headshots for our website and blog.
She's amazing!!!
I'm so pleased with the results. These pictures describe me perfectly! I'm so glad they're on my blog and I know they'll go perfect on the website I'm currently designing.
On a completely different note... thanks to everyone who's been coming to my blog everyday to support me! All of you know I love photography but that's it! The purpose of this post is to change that. Here are some random and fun facts about me:
1. I love lists, and will write something [I've already accomplished] down just so I can cross it off. It makes me feel good.
2.I enjoy politics.
3. I like the smell of sharpie markers.
4. I'd rather be hot than cold.
5. I play my music loud in the car with my windows up [not down], even in the summer.
6. I'd prefer cleaning the toilet to vacuuming.
7. I really like mirrors and have 13 in my room.
8. I listen to Christmas music all year long.
9. I love conversations in the dark.
10. I eat my spaghetti without red sauce, and my pancakes without syrup.
11. I order off the childrens menus when I go to Culvers.
12. I enjoy watching the Biggest Loser. I don't know why!
13. I enjoy playing pointless games on the computer like Minesweeper and Solitaire.
14. I like gold more than silver, and pearls more than diamonds.
15. Sometimes I take showers at midnight!

I'm Caralin Ruth, a photographer from Toronto, Ontario. I found your blog through Kristin, and I've subscribed to yours, Kristin's, Jessica's and Ica's too! You've all done such wonderful work already, and I'm excited to see where you go from here!
So, random tidbits about me - that's one thing I haven't blogged about yet on my site, but now seems as good a time as any!
1. I am also a fan of lists. I have one sitting beside me right now that I should start checking off as soon as I finish writing this!
2. I definitely agree with hot instead of cold, but summer has not been cooperating in Toronto this year... boo.
3. I also love Minesweeper, though I never got into Solitaire as much.
4. After photography, cake decorating is another love of mine. Yesterday I made a camel out of gumpaste, and today I'm making a kayak (they're for a post-wedding cake for my sister and her husband - they live in the middle east and are avid kayakers)
5. I grew up in the country, and my siblings and I often entertained ourselves by making funny faces in the mirror. That's a habit I've never quite outgrown! :)
Alright, there's a mini list for now. It's hard to think of things to put on there - you did so well writing 15!

Random Fact: I love cupcakes. But we all know that already ..
Another fact: I have an Arabic singing camel in my bedroom. Bwahaha! It was from my sister's boyfriend when he was deployed in Iraq for my birthday. Sweetheart huh? Who doesn't want a singing Arabic Camel for their birthday? LOL
